This analysis is aboutBoardwalk Empire (2010)See the facts →The Wire, The Sopranos, Oz are really very good; quality shows occupying three spots on my top 5 series list. After watching these three series, even if other series are good series, they will feel bland to the viewer. Since my knowledge of series is quite high, there are close to 10 series that people who have watched these three series could enjoy. These series are the best series in their categories.
Breaking Bad
It's probably a series you've watched, but the series closest to the quality of these three is Breaking Bad. A magnificent example of artistry. I couldn't pass it by without naming it. It's on my top 5 list. Breaking Bad, which offers many new techniques on television; it examines individual psychology, perhaps the series where character analysis is done best. We have a character in front of us as well-crafted as Tony Soprano: Walter White.
Six Feet Under
I don't think you've watched a better series about death. Life, death and aphorisms. Six Feet Under is an emotional series in which you can find something of yourself, to which you can feel close. It has very good aphorisms. Six Feet Under is a series that has earned its place on my top 5 series list.
Dekalog
I haven't watched a more dramatic series. The series takes your heart captive by filling it with pain over time. It drags you into existential anxiety. The series seeks the meaning of life and causes the viewer pain. Although it can't make the top 5, Dekalog is at number 6 on my list.
Boardwalk Empire
The actor we know as Omar Little from The Wire also appears in this series. Boardwalk Empire is a crime series set in the 1920s. This series, which is a rather dark production, will fill your void made up of the three series above to some extent, if not completely.
The Shield
A police series. While it is a good series, it has a dark side. Those who love the trio above will also like this series.
Chernobyl
A wonderful mini-series about the Pripyat Chernobyl accident. Its atmosphere is very good. It makes a person feel the accident and what happened after the accident. A quality series.
Firefly and Battlestar Galactica
The two best science fiction series. Even though they aren't crime series, you can watch such quality series; because people who watch The Wire, Oz and The Sopranos are people who understand quality, and Firefly and Battlestar Galactica are two quality science fiction series.
These series are quality series that will fill the void and can create new voids.
