The Best Call of Duty Game
I am known for my objectivity. My critiques, reviews, and comments focus on the objective aspects of a work. I will also interpret the best Call of Duty game objectively.
There is no game that immerses me like Call of Duty 2 did, making me experience World War II, feel the war, and creating an atmosphere as authentic as a real war. In my opinion, Call of Duty 2 is the best work among all series, films, and games related to World War II.
Some will say Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This game makes the player feel like they are watching a great cinematic film. Artistically, it beats Call of Duty 2 hands down. CoD 2 has no story. MW 2 is the best in terms of narrative. You can connect with the characters. These elements are barely present in Call of Duty 2.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, on the other hand, is an intimate and original game. It features some of the best missions not just within the Call of Duty franchise, but in gaming history as a whole, such as All Ghillied Up and One Shot, One Kill. It is an artistic game with a story, where you can connect with characters, and it stands out for its originality.
These three games are the best Call of Duty titles. I struggle to decide which one is better than the others. However, Call of Duty 2 edges out the rest by a nose. But there is almost no difference between CoD 2, CoD 4: MW, and CoD: MW 2. They are three evenly matched games.
After these games comes Call of Duty: Black Ops. Despite optimization issues, it has a good story, plenty of action, and fits perfectly into the classic Call of Duty mold. For me, this is the fourth best game.
Then comes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Although MW3 lacks any innovation after two masterpieces like MW and MW2, serving merely as a Part 3 to previous games, it is still quite beautiful in terms of story, characters, atmosphere, and aesthetics.
Next is the first Call of Duty game. It's a playable, decent game. If I had never played it before, I would have played it regardless of its graphics or anything else.
After that comes Call of Duty: World at War. Despite optimization problems, it remains a playable game in the general Call of Duty style.
In last place is Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. I didn't like the game. It wasn't like a typical Call of Duty title. Apart from a few sections, it didn't appeal to me much.
With CoD: BO II, I stopped playing Call of Duty. However, from what I've seen, none of the subsequent games are particularly good. You might like them, but they don't align with my sense of beauty. Objectively speaking, I don't think they are good games.
Even though I name Call of Duty 2 as the best game by a narrow margin, CoD 4: MW and MW 2 are superior to Call of Duty 2 in certain aspects.
