Batman finally discovers why there were contradictions in the dates involving Cyrus Pinkney. It turns out Cyrus had a grandson named Cyrus Pinkney III, who often forgot to add the III to his signature; the original was never involved. The III was the one who did business with Solomon Wayne, betrayed Henry Cobblepot and met Amadeus Arkham. This fits better with The Cobblepot Feud, which confirms that the Penguin is Henry's grandson; the man crushed by the III in the 1920s after faking his death. It also strengthens the Wayne lineage, from Solomon to Alan, and from Thomas to Bruce.

The Rat that Batman fights in the projector booth is very clearly Dick Grayson. The writers took great care to ensure Dick is orphaned during the game and to honor his established Origins. There are two obvious hints that it is him. First, he holds broken pieces of wood like a pair of escrima sticks. Second, his hair matches the style he has during Arkham Knight.
