TV Series to Watch After The Wire, The Sopranos, and Oz

The Wire, The Sopranos, Oz are really very good; quality shows that occupy three spots in my top 5 series list. After watching these three, other series, even if they are good, will feel bland to the viewer. Since my knowledge of series is quite high, there are about 10 series that people who have watched these three might enjoy. These series are the best in their categories.

  1. Breaking Bad

    Probably a series you've watched, but the closest in quality to these three is Breaking Bad. A magnificent example of artistry. I couldn't skip mentioning it. It's in my top 5 list. Breaking Bad, which offers many new techniques on television; examines individual psychology, perhaps the best character analysis is done in this series. We have a character as well-crafted as Tony Soprano: Walter White.

    I don't think you've watched a better series about death. Life, death, and aphorisms. Six Feet Under is an emotional series where you can find something of yourself, feel close to it. It has very good aphorisms. Six Feet Under is a series that has earned its place in my top 5 series list.

    I haven't watched a more dramatic series. The series captivates you by filling your heart with pain over time. It drags you into existential anxiety. The series seeks the meaning of life and gives the viewer pain. Although it doesn't make the top 5, Dekalog is 6th on my list.
