The film's climax was shot at Mukesh Mills, a popular location in films of the 80s and 90s, where at one point producers had stopped shooting because it was said to be haunted.
Akshay Kumar comes from Punjab to Mumbai with his family for his wedding, where some of his friends say they will see Dharmendra's house once they reach Mumbai, which is presented as the Dharmendra craze among Punjabis.
