Two paintings are visible in Moody's room, where she receives her birthday gift. On the left is Giuseppe Arcimboldo's 'Summer' (1563), and on the right is Arcimboldo's 'Spring' (same year). Arcimboldo painted portraits of the kind called "double images paintings," in which the main image is formed from other elements; in this case, a face is composed of plant parts, flowers and so on. Both may represent a double nature in the two main characters: assassins and ordinary law-abiding citizens.
