While writing the song "Chaand Taare," Javed Akhtar accidentally predicted Shah Rukh Khan's future, as most of the song's lines have now come true because Shah Rukh Khan is a global superstar and one of the most popular and wealthiest actors in the world.

In the song "Jaata Hai Tu Kahan," Shah Rukh Khan pays tribute to Amitabh Bachchan by eating Indian betel leaf (paan) and imitating "Kaike Paan Banaras Wala" from the 1978 film Don, wrapping a cloth around his head. Coincidentally, nine years later Shah Rukh Khan would star in the remake of the 1978 classic, directed by Javed Akhtar's son Farhan Akhtar.
