He graduated high school two years early with A-Level grades and attended Elam School of Fine Arts, New Zealand's leading art school. In a last-minute decision, he pursued his true passion in a career as an actor and filmmaker. Two months later he took the lead role of Bray in the cult TV series The Tribe.
