During the filming of the TV stunt show Keen Eddie (2003), a stuntman was hit by a bus. The stunt required Nicholas to be strapped to a chair and left hanging 20 ft above the ground after being struck by a double-decker bus that had to stop a few inches from him. He walked away with a bruised head.
