Friends - TV's Warmest Comedy

sufferwithme / KurucuOctober 12, 20261 min read

Friends is not a series made just to make people laugh. The events revolving around 6 characters, the characters' relationships with each other, the warmth—all of this takes the series beyond being just a sitcom or a comedy series. There might even be things to learn from it in terms of human relationships.

As someone who thinks the best comedy series on TV is Seinfeld, Friends is a warm series. How I Met Your Mother, which came after it and was inspired by it, could not come close to the same quality.

Friends is a series about friendship. Even though there are things that sometimes put the audience off, and even though it is a series that aired before the year 2000, it still has a loyal fan base. It also partly maintains its popularity.

It has a fan base in Turkey as well. Watching this series is like that longing for the 90s. You know, it's like going to a café in 1999 and drinking a milkshake.

Overall, Friends has produced a successful work in terms of both story and acting. I think it satisfied the viewers.
