Mike Myers was hired by Second City on the day he graduated from high school in 1982. His final exam was at 9 a.m., the audition was at noon, and he was hired at 3 p.m.

Myers owns the last letter written to him by Beatles singer George Harrison, which was given to him shortly before Harrison's death and while Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) was in production. The letter complimented him on the Austin Powers films and asked him for a Mini Me doll.
