The title "White Collar" can be read as a double meaning: first, as the type of criminals they pursue (criminals who use their professional lives to steal and/or commit fraud), and second, as a description of Neal's new job at the FBI (work belonging to or relating to office ranks and professional employees, which generally does not require manual labor or wearing a uniform or work clothes), as opposed to the "profession" being that of a criminal.
