At the end of Rio's loving conversation with Miles on the water tower, Miles asks her for "Bendición, mami" and follows it with "Que Dios te bendiga." This was an addition requested by the voice actress's own mother, who watched the film's trailer containing the speech and called her to say that "Bendición" was not in the scene; it is a meaningful expression in Latin American circles and essentially means asking for and receiving a parent's blessing. Luna Lauren Velez called the directors and asked whether they could somehow add it to the scene, and they immediately agreed.
